PGA Golf Management Tour
Established in 1906 as a teacher’s college, Eastern Kentucky University has grown into a dynamic, comprehensive university with over 16,000 students. One of eight state-assisted, public universities in the The PGA Golf Tour is a series of weekly, 9-hole tournaments, designed for player development and to improve tournament playing skills. There is no entry fee for the PGA Golf Management Tour however; participation is required as a part of the Player Development Program. Students who have not passed the PGA/Playing Ability Test must play in three PGA Golf Management Tour events each semester (not including the major tournaments). Arlington Golf Shop gift certificates and a tournament point system are in place to reward the top players.
